Icon Tutorial - Animated noisy glitterish icon

So, I made this tutorial to teach people on how to make blinky animated icons, with Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop. You know that "noise" tool that no one ever uses because it makes everything ugly? Yeah, now it will be useful for something. ♥_♥

I chose this image to begin with.
It's Misa from the anime/manga Death Note.
Now let's MAKE IT BLINK, BABY!



First step. Pick up an image and open with Paint Shop Pro.
Pick any selection tool and choose the area that will "blink".
You can hold shift to select more areas.
(Me?I chose the magic wand, and holding shift,
clicked on the areas that i wanted to blink: the skull, her eyes, her necklace.)





Then press SHIFT+D three times.
It will duplicate your images, with the selections.

ZOMGS NOW YOU HAVE THREE OF THEM YAY!!




Now, on the menu, choose Efffects. And then Noise.
And then, Add.... ........ Oh yeah.






Now, choose the settings.
Well, I picked 30%, and Uniform.
Click ok.






SAVE the image you just added the noise.
Save it as icon1.gif to make things easier.




Repeat the ADD NOISE and then SAVE process
with the other two images.
You should save them as:
icon2.gif, icon3.gif
(it will make it easier later)
And now you have three saved images.
:( BUT, HOW DO I MAKE THEM ANIMOOOOTED??!!1

EASY!


Open your Animation Shop.
Click on the Animation Wizard icon.





It will open a new box. Just keep on clicking NEXT
untill you see the image:

That will decide how fast your animation will go.
Choose 15. HMHKAY?
Also, click on "YES, REPEAT THE ANIMATION BLA BLABLA."


THEN...


CLICK NEXT AGAIN! :OOOO
Yes... click next untill you see the image:

And there you will click on ADD IMAGE.




It will open a new window, now you have to browse for the
place where you previously saved your icon gifs on Paint Shop Pro.

Well, remember you saved three images: icon1.gif, icon2.gif and icon3.gif?
Add them HERE.
All of them. It's ok to add one by one.

AFTER YOU ADDED ALL THREE IMAGES...

CLICK TO "FINISH" your animation.






AND SAVE.
